A Very Low Mileage Derby Bentley. Preservation?

Assessment for preservation or restoration, this car has been in the same family for very many years.
Although looking very poor, the chassis and running gear appear to be very original and untouched.
The chassis one-shot lubrication has preserved a great deal.

A Short Tour Around The Workshops

A new Fiennes R-R Phantom cylinder block being prepared for assembly.
Various Phantom items in preparation for assembly.

Small HP Worm & Nut steering box. This photograph shows the recovered Nut, with an incredibly precise, thin deposit of white metal bearing material, cast and machined true to the skeletal steel form. The ability to reproduce this technique has been the very successful result of many hours of R&D work over many years here at Fiennes Restoration.

Research and development has been a key philosophy with Fiennes Restoration despite the huge costs involved with repeated testing and designing before release to everyday practice.

A particularly sad arrival
